for this is the One who deserves all our thanksgiving
thanksgiving we can worship, and know the truth

for the world

through service and sacrifice
thanksgiving we are joined to one another
siblings in Christ
with the church, catholic, apostolic
across the world
thanksgiving for the gifts we have
vaccines
food in our stomachs
clothes on our backs
roofs over our heads
thanksgiving for those who love and support us
family
friends
those in this community of faith
thanksgiving for those of the faith who’ve gone before us
saints who worship eternally the Ancient of Days
saints who behold the presence of the Son of Man
thanksgiving for the kingdom of God
which can never be destroyed
King of our lives
Christ Jesus
we offer now our prayers of concern for others and the world
our siblings in Christ
who must worship in secret
for fear of their lives
our siblings in the worldwide family of humanity
with no access to healthcare
food
clothing
shelter
those bearers of God’s image
who feel unloved and unlovely
for the way society demonises them
our hearts ache at love withheld
from your children, Ancient of Days
Lord and Ruler of all
with humble and contrite hearts
we faithfully bring these prayers
to the blazing throne of the Son of Man
in the sure and certain knowledge
you will answer
