The burden of God is light
it is the law of love written on our hearts
Love for God, love for neighbour
let us go from here
to take up that burden of love
into God’s world
to be God’s love in action
in compassion
in grace
in understanding
so that though us
others may find rest in the one who sends us
and lay their burdens down at the feet of Christ
