We gather here
Drawn from different communities
different backgrounds
different churches
all with a shared purpose
to set aside the temptations of the world
to set aside our doubts and pain
to set aside our worry and our shame
that together we worship God alone
together we may seek to follow where Jesus leads
in faithful obedience
