We lift the cup of salvation

in adoration and wonder we gather
through the wonders of the 21st century world
giving heed to the Word of God
in scripture
and in the person of the Risen Christ
Christ Jesus
walk with us this day
grant us comfort from our pain
forgiveness of our sins
and confidence in the power of the resurrection
