King of kings
as we journey with you this week
we know we will not follow all the way
to the cross
we will betray you
we will deny you
we will doubt you
in our words, in our actions, in the things we have failed to do
once again, remind us of the great love the Lord God has for us
remind us we are forgiven of all we may do this week which does not point to the power of that love revealed in and through the cross of Christ
