God is doing a new thing
come and see
come and see God’s compassion
in a world of animosity
come and see God’s justice
in a world of corruption
come and see God’s assurance
in a world of fear
come and see God’s love
in a world of hate
come and see it is God who is king, Lord, in charge
in the midst of turmoil, uncertainty, trouble
in our lives, in the country, in the world
