Lord God
we praise and thank you for all you are
Love, infinite, unconditional love
longing to draw us closer to you
that we may reflect your love into the parts of the world we inhabit
when at the shops and the butchers
when walking the dog or out for a cycle
when interacting with the postie and delivery driver
when compassionately keeping our distance from one another, in other to keep each other safe
when on the phone
when online
remind us that, in all things, we are Christians
Loving Christ
we thank you for your feeding of our souls this day
and the faith we have in you
we thank you for clothing us as your people
may that clothing be compassion and grace
a filling of the spirit
that we may serve
in seeking the lost
the lonely
the desolate
and be the Christian witness you need us to be
in our world

Lord Jesus Christ
nourish our faith
that, in love, we can be your body
serving and loving
always, even when faced with hate or anger
[pause]
Nourishing One
May your world know the love you offer
in every place
at every time
from the highest office in the land
to the smallest flat in a housing scheme
that all may find a blessing at your banquet table
[pause]
And, as we pray we quietly offer our prayers for the people, places and situation which are on our hearts this day

accept all these prayers, spoken and unspoken, offered in faith and trust
