In the face of violence
may we be defiant with peace
in the face of division
may we be defiant with inclusion
in the face of abuse
may we be defiant with justice
in the face of hate
may we be defiant with love
so all the nations may come to God’s holy mountain
and be gathered into God’s glorious kingdom
