O Holy night
what a day, what a glorious day begins this hour
the day where shepherds
and wise men from a foreign land
gather to worship the baby born in a stable
if folks such as those can know the love, the light o God
in infant holy
so can you and I
for he was born for us
Emmanuel, God with us
what a blessing
what a joy
what a wonder
for which all our praise, all our worship
would never give back what we have received
or can receive
in knowing Jesus

Light of the World
thank you for coming to us
at that the first Christmas day
for living with us
for caring for us
for showing the world
that the light will always overcome the darkness
as the star shone bright that day
may your love shine bright within us today
radiating into the places in our hearts, homes, communities which need it
Joy of the World
may the world truly know the blessings of Christmas this year
and peace, hope, joy and love
which pass all understanding
bring to us
this Christmas day through Jesus
